Burrows Tractor Vets Autonomous Solutions to Simplify Agtech Adoption for PNW Growers

Burrows Tractor will bring some of its most popular and versatile solutions to FIRA USA, 20-22 October in Yakima, Washington. The event showcases agricultural robots and other technological solutions in realistic working conditions. Growers can assess performance, compare systems side-by-side and speak with manufacturers.

Planned field demos include: the Burro Grande using an herbicide sprayer equipped with Weed-It technology, Yamaha Prospr and a new New Holland tractor pulling a Turbo-mist sprayer equipped with Orchard IQ.

“Orchard IQ is a ‘see and spray’ technology. The sprayer only activates when it detects foliage, which significantly reduces input waste,” Lange said. “We will also have static displays of the Zasso electric weeder, AgOtter spray rate controller and a Red Ant variable rate fertilizer spreader.”
