Kingman Ag Minion Mini by Kingman Ag

Kingman Ag
United States of America

Kingman Ag makes tractor autonomy practical and affordable for growers facing labor constraints. Our Physical AI solution retrofits tractors across all makes and models and runs standard implements without modifications. Vision-based navigation works day or night in dust, tall weeds, closed canopies, and GPS-denied environments. Proven in commercial operations, Kingman Ag systems run around the clock. Growers keep their equipment; Kingman Ag adds the autonomy.

Functionalities and technologies

  • Core Functionality : A single switch toggles between autonomous and manual operation, keeping growers in control. Kingman Ag’s Physical AI controls steering, hydraulics, and implements via mechanical actuators, motors, and a 12V interface. Fail-safe braking and multiple redundancies ensure safe, reliable operation. Vision-based navigation delivers sub-inch row accuracy at up to 7 mph without LiDAR—operating in dust, tall weeds, GPS-denied environments, and closed canopies.
  • Software : Camera-based computer vision and AI deliver sub-inch row accuracy at up to 7 mph—effective in dust, tall weeds, and low branches where LiDAR systems fail. RTK GPS for headlands, roads, and open areas (base station provided by Kingman Ag). Cellular and/or Starlink antenna for remote connectivity and monitoring. Mechanical actuators for steering and hydraulics; 12V solenoid interface for electric implements. Pneumatic braking actuator and patented safety bumper.
  • Connectivity : Kingman Ag provides cellular connectivity and/or Starlink with RTK GPS base stations as part of the service; no third-party infrastructure is required. The system uses RTK GPS for headlands, roads, and open areas, switching to camera-based Physical AI for GPS-denied in-row and closed-canopy operation.
  • Compatible Tools : Compatible with standard rear- and front-mount implements across 15+ job types: sprayers, mowers, discs, shredders, sulfur dusters, mechanical weeders, French plows, seeders, trimmers, hedgers, sweepers, and more (Ontarget, Clemens, Optimizer, Wilcox). No implement sensors or modifications required for most applications. Hydraulic implements connect via the onboard hydraulic control interface; electric implements via the 12V solenoid interface.

Development Roadmap

  • Next phase : The next phase of Kingman Ag’s Physical AI is expanding from autonomous tractor operation to greater task intelligence and end-to-end mission execution. The system will increasingly perceive field and crop conditions, dynamically control tractors and implements, and complete more complex field operations with minimal human intervention.
