MagrowTec's mission is to help farmers & growers across the world be more input and time efficient while being more profitable and sustainable.
We do this by using a patented, permanent rare earth magnetic assisted spray system to condition spray fluid. This conditioned spray fluid is more uniform, allowing the sprayer nozzle to work more efficiently to deliver more of the desired or 'right size' droplets to the target. In addition to better coverage, consistent droplet size means more consistent velocity, which delivers more crop protection into the lower canopy of the plant as well as producing less off target drift.
This process requires no power source, therefore has no electronics, subscriptions or connectivity requirement, has no moving parts and is completely retrofitable and transferable.
By creating a more compact droplet spectrum and ultimately more of the right size droplets, growers have experienced better efficacy, better productivity, reduced the number of passes through the crop and most importantly, maximised their profitability through reduced input costs and more reliable yield and quality maintenance.
Our crop science team works with growers to optimise their sprayer performance, delivering a better spray job, more informed decision-making around nozzle selection, water rates, pressure, and travel speeds as well as quantitative measurements of their spray coverage so they can work with their own real numbers not industry averages.
We have invested heavily in developing robust Return on Investment (ROI) tools which use the growers own numbers, shows them how things stack up now and cross-reference these to their aspirations. Most importantly, it shows them exactly what they will save and when.
Whether you are a large scale vegetable grower or a boutique market gardener, maximising the performance of every application is critical to success. Why apply more than you need to, and why waste what you have already paid for?
We can help you be more productive, efficient, sustainable and profitable. Are you ready to start saving from the first pass you make using MagrowTec?

Technology Overview
- Latest revision : 9/10/2026
- Commercial release date : 2016
- Application : MagrowTec's system uses permanent rare earth magnets to condition spray fluid prior to exiting the nozzle. This patented process ensures more of the desired droplet is created and applied to the target. Users have reported increased leaf coverage of 20% to 40% or more, reduced off target drift (some customers have seen 50 to 60% reductions) and better lower canopy penetration in mature crops (25 to 40% more in the lower canopy) than they have achieved with conventional applications. All of this is achieved without any need for electronics/power source, no moving parts and no maintenance other than normal boom hygiene.
Commercialisation Overview
- Technology Readiness Level (TRL) : 10: Market introduction - Full commercial operation
- Units in Service - Global : Over 300
- Business model : Direct sales / Distributor network / Rental / Other
- Price : Finance Packages available | $51K to $100K
- Ongoing Costs : Finance Packages available. No additional costs. The system has currency adjusted pricing Globally but it is consistent across all markets.
Market Coverage, Distributors and Service Suppliers
- Countries or markets addressed :
North America and soon to be Canada, EMEA (France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany), UK and ANZ (Australia and New Zealand). Servicing broad acre horticulture and agriculture with plans to enter the tree crop, turf, and lawn and glasshouse markets in the next 2 to 5 years.
Performance & Economic Impact
- Estimated ROI :
Typical ROI is 2 to 3 seasons
- Phytosanitary Product Savings :
Reductions in;
chemical/foliar fertiliser costs,
Diesel usage,
Water usage,
Sprayer depreciation
Reapplication labour - Yield Improvement :
Whilst it is dangerous to suggest that one element can affect yield in isolation, the timely, proper application of crop protection products and foliar fertilisers certainly maximises yield potential.

Functionalities and technologies
- Core Functionality : Our system improves spray application by delivering a more consistent droplet spectrum. This consistency delivers better coverage, better canopy penetration and reduced off target drift. By doing these things, every application delivers better efficacy, productivity, efficiency and ultimately profitability and sustainability.
- Software : N/A
- Connectivity : No - we have no electronics and require no power, GPS or data connectivity
- Compatible Tools : Our system retrofits to any spray unit with a pump flow of 70L/min or more
Development Roadmap
- Next phase : The development and release of an air blast model of the system for use in tree crops and vines
