Functionalities and technologies

  • Core Functionality : Voltrac Thor is compatible with standard agricultural implements through a three-point hitch and PTO, supporting operations such as plowing, spraying and mulching. It combines autonomous navigation, remote supervision and manual remote control for short-distance manoeuvres. With an output equivalent to 150 HP, a weight of 3,500 kg (7,716 lb), a modular battery system, four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering, Thor provides strong traction, extended operating time and high manoeuvrability across different farming environments.
  • Software : 360º cameras, stereo cameras for 3D view, GPS and RTK, Starlink connectivity and dual SIM cards.
  • Connectivity : - Voltrac Thor requires data connectivity for remote supervision, fleet management, software updates - No dedicated base station is required for normal operation - Doesn't require integration with the farm's GPS infrastructure. Voltrac Thor does not rely on high-accuracy GPS or RTK for autonomous operation, as its navigation is primarily based on onboard perception systems. Standard GNSS can be used as complementary positioning information, but no dedicated GPS infrastructure or base station is required.
  • Compatible Tools : Any standard 3 point hitch implements (atomiser, plough, seeder, sprayer, etc.)

Development Roadmap

  • Next phase : Continuous optimisation of hardware, software, and system architecture to improve performance and reliability
